People search for marketing and not for spam
An interesting post from Seth Godin about how people search for what they are looking for with search engines and are more likely to accept advertisement encountered while using that means versus getting spam that they have no interest in, pushed to them (ie.Spam email with links to spam sites, Telemarketers, etc)
The result of Google and the prevalence of search means that people are far more forgiving of things that need to be sought out, and less patient than ever with selfish marketers that insist on showing up in your face.

FaceBook is being sued and not by MySpace
FaceBook is being sued not by MySpace but by three former fellow Harvard Students.
The trio - Cameron Winklevoss, his twin brother Tyler and Divya Narendra - claim they were developing their own social networking site, ConnectU, and asked Mr Zuckerberg to help after hearing about his internet prowess
They now allege that he deliberately stalled its progress so he could set up Facebook six months ahead - a crucial time advantage, they say, in the breakneck speed of the internet revolution.
