Google Adwords Seminar available

The Google AdWords program can be  challenging for the Small Business owner. Although there is a wide variety of content available on the topic for free, these seminars are a good option for those that don’t have the time OR want instructor lead training.

The cost is $250, $50 of which is credited to your AdWords account. The seminars are 4 hours long. AdWords Seminars.

Traditional Advertisers lie about Internet Marketing!

Ever have a conversation with someone in the advertisement industry who does not understand Internet Marketing? Well I thought I’d write about a recent experience that I had with one of these traditional advertisers. I place an emphasis on traditional because this ad man spoke very highly of the importance of Print advertisement, Graphic Design, and Direct Mail in particular. He had gotten my contact information from one of my clients that we had done some web development work for.

Small Business Marketing with PPC

Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising is a method of bringing visitors to your website by using an advertisement that you only pay for when someone clicks an advertisement that links to your webpage or website. Popularized by the Google Adwords program, PPC programs allow the small business owner worldwide, direct marketing, advertisement to anyone with any level of budget. Yahoo also offers a PPC search engine marketing program.

Do I use the Hyphens or the underscore?

Updated on 6.11.2007 (corrected typo and inserted example) Should you use hyphens or the underscore for your online website’s file names, subdirectories or in your content? Examples: your-site.com/my-files.htm or your_site.com/my_files.htm

Recently I noticed lots of hyphens being used in URLs, mostly by SEO or techie types of websites or businesses that are completely online like Amazon.com. The last few years Ive been focusing on search engines and SEO.
