Googlecoupons.com launching?

Filed under: Google — Kyle M Brown @ 9:33 pm

Google Coupons have been an offering of Google Maps for sometime now. It appears that Google may be setting up for something bigger or an extension of that offering. According to Resourceshelf Google has pointed Googlecoupons.com to its name servers.

Yesterday, another domain, GoogleCoupon.com was also transferred and also shows Google Inc as the domain owner. So, is this another clue that a Google coupon program? Service? Promotion? is getting closer?

A lookup of Googlecoupons.com shows that Markmonitor is the Registrant, which is sometimes but not always the owner, and not Google but the domain is pointed to Googles name servers. On the other hand a look up of Googlecoupon.com shows the exact opposite.

Id say these are Google domains considering that Google uses MarkMonitor for several of its properties:Froogle Googleearth
