Objective: Add music to the g1 phone.
Prerequsite: Follow the steps in the how to sync a g1 with a pc.
Step 1) Copy or move you mp3 music files directly into the “Music” folder on the g1.
End - This objective should be completed. Review and repeat the steps if you had any issues.

Obective: Sync the g1 phone with a pc using usb.
Step 1) Connect the g1 to a usb port on your computer using the usb cable provide with the phone.
Step 2) You should see a usb symbol on the phones main screen near the upper left hand corner. Figure 1.

Step 3) Slide down the notifications bar.
Step 4) Select the “Select to copy files to/from your computer” . Figure 2.

Step 5) Select the mount option .Figure 3. Note: At this time the computer may prompt you that a new connection has been found at which time you should select to Open the files / folder OR close the window.

Step 6) At this time the computer should display a new removable drive with a drive letter. Figure 4.

Step 7) Open the new drive and you will find the files and folders on the phone. Figure 5.

Select the folder you need. Note: The “Music” for music, “dcim”/”Camera” for photos and videos.
End – This objective should be completed. Review and repeat the steps if you had any issues.

Objective: Take pictures with the phone.
Step 1) Expand the menu from the mainscreen.
Step 2) Select the camera icon. Figure 1.

Step 3) Point the back of the phone at the object you wish to photograph. Note: The red phones buttons and trackball should be on your right.
Step 4) View the image on the touch screen and press the photo button on the screen in the upper right hand corner.

Objective: Remove a thumbnail on Chromes start page.
- Open a new window or tab in Chrome.
- In the lower left hand corner, click the link that says “Remove a thumbnail”
- You will see options to delete eash thumbnail.
- Remove the thumbnail that you no longer want to appear.

I had not heard about arbitrage in a while. This article has a pretty nice formula. I have not tried it but it appears to make easy since.
