How to change the screen orientation on a g1

Firmware: 1.5
Objective: Change the orientation on the display of a g1 phone.
Step 1) Click on the settings icon from the g1′s desktop and select “Sound & Display.” ( Figure 1 )

Step 2 ) Scroll down and locate the “Orientation” option and select it. ( Figure 2 )

End – This task is completed and the display should now change to horizontal or vertical based on how the phone is being held.

Absolutely. It worked.
If you don’t see the “orientation” setting, then your probably not using firmware 1.5. Update your firmware.
