How do I save a picture from a text message that was sent to me?
Apparently there is an application called “Save MMS” that can be downloaded from the Android Market via your phone only.
There is also talk of this feature being added to the phone in the near future.

When you Masterset your phone, it askes me for a 3 or 4 digit number to put in but i don’t know what it is. can you help me out with that

My understanding is that for now the only way of accessing any types of file is by using an application called “DiskUsage”, which is available through Market Place on your phone.
It allows you to browse and delete files that are on your microSD.
Other alternatives are:
1. Use an application the is related to the file you want to view. For viewing Photos use Pictures. Etc.
2. File Browser 2 (http://www.anddev.org/android_filebrowser__v20-t101.html)

Sounds like you need your SIM pin code. If you dont have it or have forgotten it. Dial 611 and request it.

@jim – At this time, there is no standard feature included to allow signatures. However, you can visit the Andriod Market on your phone and get the “Handcent SMS” Application. It allows you to include signatures in your sms messages along with auto rotate, touch screen keyboard and many more features.
How do you get stuff out your trash,and how download music to your fone for free
The answer depends on what your are trying to get from the trash. Email, icons, contacts?

From your g1′s desktop, press and hold any blank space for a few seconds.
You will see a menu, select “widgets”, and then clock.
These steps will place the clock back on your desktop.

Putting music on the g1 is seamless.
Use the USB cable that came with your phone.
Plug it into your pc or laptop.
That should create a folder on your desktop for the g1.
Note: Your G1 may display a request that you mount the phone so that it can sync with the PC. Select “Mount” or else the folder may not be accessible.
Drag you music (mp3′s) from the pc into the “Music” folder on the phone.
Use the default music player on the phone to play the music.
What do you mean when you said drag music?
I mean you left click on the MP3 files on your pc’s hard drive and drag them into the music folder on your g1.
I use to go download ring tones for free at diz web sit and today wen I try it said it waz down loadin but it wasin in my phone wen I check my ringrone sittings
How do you send a text message to multiple people in my contacts?
There is an application called “texteasy” that allows you to do that. Its available at the android market. Just open the android market on your phone and search for it.
i just got g1 on craigslist. i cant go market because it is requested password but i dont know yet,user name is not my name . so wat can i do . and i dont have g1 plan i just have t mobile plan

Usually depends on what is being used to password protect the phone. T-mobile or 3rd party application? Either way you will probably need to reset the phone.
I would usually advise you to proceed with caution, but you don’t have anything to lose since you cant access the phone.
Try these instructions:
1. Power off the G1
2. Hold Home Key + End key for 20 seconds until you see a triangle with an exclamation point and a picture of the G1
3. Open the physical keyboard and hit Alt+W
As far as plans go, you’ll need to contact T-Mobile or visit the website to determine what plan works best for you but you will need the have a data plan for the G1.
wen a plug the usb in the computer for the g1 it wont create a folder called g1 what do aye do
Could be any number of things. Di you mount the g1 to the pc? You should be promoted to do this when you connect the device to the pc. Look for the usb symbol in the upper left hand corner after connecting the g1.

I have downloaded ringtones from myxer.com and they went to my default ringtone list. Some of them are wrong. How can I delete them ?
