		<description>Could be any number of things. Di you mount the g1 to the pc? You should be promoted to do this when you connect the device to the pc. Look for the usb symbol in the upper left hand corner after connecting the g1.</description>

		<description>Usually depends on what is being used to password protect the phone. T-mobile or 3rd party application? Either way you will probably need to reset the phone. 

I would usually advise you to proceed with caution, but you don&#039;t have anything to lose since you cant access the phone.

Try these instructions:

1. Power off the G1
2. Hold Home Key + End key for 20 seconds until you see a triangle with an exclamation point and a picture of the G1
3. Open the physical keyboard and hit Alt+W

As far as plans go, you&#039;ll need to contact T-Mobile or visit the website to determine what plan works best for you but you will need the have a data plan for the G1.</description>
