Underscore versus URL test

I posted comments in the past about the using Hyphens versus the underscore in the subpages of websites. Today, found an interesting post at Michael Grays Blog that reminded me of this topic.

In this demonstration a simple Google search for a long tail phrase clearly show pages using the underscore with the keywords bold OR highlighted by Google. The site with the hyphened urls is number one BUT Google still recognized the sites with underscored urls in its SERP’s.
